Hello, long-lost little blog of mine!  It's been a while...

Today, I'm participating in My 3 Boybarians Sweet Shot Tuesday.  Here is my sweet shot...

Brig is finally off and walking (well, running) on his own and I snapped a few pictures of the boys having a big ole time playing in the mud from the runoff of a much-needed car wash.  I do believe this is Brig's first mud adventure and no doubt it's far from his last.  Both of them were a complete mess but had the most fun.  I reckon boys are supposed to be dirty, right?

Mama's New "Toy"

Santa was very good to Mama this year and brought me a snazzy, brand spankin' new DSLR camera and I a.d.o.r.e. it!  Lots of functions and terminology to learn, but I'm sure it will give me loads of beautiful shots for years to come.  Well worth the investment, in my opinion. 

I've been trying to make it a point to snap a few pictures every day just to get more practice in.  Though I seem to have better luck outside in natural light, most of the shots from inside the house are either a) yellow-tinged, or b) require a flash and look too bright.  That's definitiely the main thing I'm working through now. 

Nevertheless, here's a little roundup of what I've been shooting lately...

Memory Monday

Looking back one year ago, these two were my whole world.  As a matter of fact, absolutely nothing has changed one bit...well, except for the obvious fact that these brothers have grown like a couple country weeds in a year.  Holy buckets! 

Hard for me to believe that my tiny, sweet, quiet-spirited Brig is now a super-speed-crawler, talkin-up-a-storm, eating me out of house and home and keeping right up with his Bubba.  And I wouldn't have changed a second of it.

Like a wind the days have passed.  Life is truly "even as a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away."  (James 4:14)

On a whim last week, I decided to link up to Life With My 3 Boybarians' Sweet Shot Tuesday.  Darcy over at My 3 Boybarians is the most talented photographer and I've been secretly following her 31 Days to A Better Photo Series and have learned an insane amount of things on how to better work my camera.  She's actually motivated me to make a point to take just a few photos every day...yes, every day.
