We just wrapped up Mother's Day weekend, so today's Memory Monday goes a few years back. Mother's Day 2010, my first as a mother of TWO, and Brigdon's dedication day.

With barely any time to spare before Easter, I managed to stitch up some matching neck ties for my boys to wear Easter Sunday. And one muggy Spring Break morning, they got slicked up and we headed out for some (quick) Spring portraits.
Pretty dapper if I don't say so myself

It's May 1st yet again. Today marks the anniversary of the day I lost my dad. And though I've kept busy today and managed to keep my mind from wandering, I didn't want the day to end without me posting a few words for such an occasion.
Two years ago, on the tenth anniversary I wrote this blog post. Just a few minutes ago, I pulled it up and read over it again. To be honest, not much has changed in our life since then. We're still dancing to the music of pitter-patter feet and watching our boys grow and change. Life doesn't stop and the world keeps turning. My God is still faithful.
Miss you Dad -- excited to see you again someday soon and introduce you to a couple of sweet, rowdy little boys I know.
